Women's Group


The United Methodist Women’s group meets on the 1st Tuesday of each month
(except for Summer Break- June & July and Winter Break- January & February).
Our next gathering is on Tuesday, November 4 at 1:00pm at Trinity’s Fellowship Hall.

November's gathering will host a guest speaker: Jo Bonner, Branch Manager of the Hobart Public Library will share with us all our local library has to offer!

And ladies, mark your calendar for December’s Annual Christmas Gathering… We’ll meet at Albano’s Pasta Shop on Tuesday, December 2 at 1:00pm. Albano’s is located at 22 Washington Street in Valpo.
We are collecting for the River Forest Community Care Closet.
The Care Closet, run by River Forest Community Schools’ nurse and social worker Cara Popenhagen, is to help the students by giving access to basic hygiene products. Cara allows the students- elementary through high school- to “shop” as needed for supplies they would otherwise not have.

May's gathering brought us Portage Fire Department Firefighter/Paramedic Jordan Bucy! "Jordan Bucy’s lifestyle is a challenging but important one: saving people in need in times of crisis. In honor of Mother’s Day, we treated ourselves to a Mother’s Day outing at Pesto’s on May 14.
