Lay Servant Academy
What is "Lay Servant Academy"?
The Lay Servant Academy [LSA] is a comprehensive developmental program for laity that helps people identify their calls to ministry and develop skills in caring, leading, and communicating ministries.
All of us are called through our baptism to participate in Christ’s ongoing ministry in the world, but often we don’t feel adequate or we don’t know what to do. The UMC offers opportunities throughout the Indiana Conference year-round that help you to connect to others, gain knowledge and skills, and grow as a disciple of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world.
The United Methodist Church offers courses in every Conference to enable the lay servant- YOU- to grow in faith and become more confident as you serve your church and community.
Are there any upcoming courses I can take held throughout the Indiana Conference?
